Acceptance
By using The AI Tools Index you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to use the service. If you don't agree, please don't use The AI Tools Index.
The service
The AI Tools Index is a listing and discovery site for AI tools: founders submit tools, the community browses and votes, and buyers and sellers of AI products can find each other. The AI Tools Index only lists and connects — it does not broker, escrow, or hold funds for any transaction. There is no escrow: all payments and transfers happen directly between the parties, off-platform, at their own risk.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
Your content and our license
When you submit a listing, a comment, or any other content, you confirm you have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate that content on The AI Tools Index, and — where you opt into network syndication — to have it reworded (including with the help of an AI rewording tool) for other markets and languages in the network, while the underlying facts stay yours to correct. You keep ownership of your content. Don't submit unlawful content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or sensitive personal data about others. We may edit, decline, or remove content, and we run a notice-and-takedown process for infringement claims — contact info@ellelion.com.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse The AI Tools Index: no unlawful activity, no abusive scraping, no attempts to disrupt the service or access another user's account, and no manipulating votes, reviews, or rankings.
The badge requirement
A free listing on The AI Tools Index goes live once you add our badge to your homepage and we detect the link back to your listing. Removing the badge after your listing goes live may result in the listing being taken down.
Paid placements
Paid add-ons (network syndication, an authority link, boosted placement, or a sponsor panel) extend a listing's reach. Every paid placement is always clearly labeled as paid — "Sponsored" or "Boosted" — and paying never buys a change to how listings are ranked or evaluated on their merits; we do not sell ranking.
Marketplace disclaimer
For-sale listings are informational only. The AI Tools Index is not a broker, does not facilitate escrow, and holds no funds at any point — buyers and sellers contact each other and complete any transaction directly and independently, off-platform. Do your own diligence before any transaction; The AI Tools Index makes no representation about the accuracy of self-reported figures.
Third-party links
The AI Tools Index links to third-party tools and websites we don't control. Use them at your own discretion and under their own terms.
Payments
Paid placements are billed via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout, and where a placement recurs, you can cancel it as easily as you started it.
Disclaimers
The AI Tools Index is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ellelion is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of The AI Tools Index; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months, if any.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue The AI Tools Index; continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and any dispute not resolved informally goes to the competent courts of Wyoming, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
